You, Must have heard of Egyptian , Mesopotamian , Indus , American and Chinese Civilization.. but never of this powerful civilization....-

 The Aksumite Empire ( 100–940 CE).....

Aksumite was a powerful empire which lasted for 800 years in Northern Africa between Ethiopia and Eritrea ...... It was as rich as others empire...

They not only have a  world class power but also have superior trades and Unique languages ...

 1..World Class Power-

--In the 3RD Century there was a famous prophet named Mani . He called Aksum , the greatest empire of earth , alongside Roman, Persian , Chinese Empires........ 

Like - Imagine that if there were only four countries that have controlled everything - USA, CHINA, EU, AKSUM......... Then if they have a chat then the king of Aksum would be present there....

 2..Super Rich From TRADES-

They were the ultimate the middlemen. . Because they  right by the red sea , having the control over the trades betwen RomanS and India ....They trade GOLD , IVORY ....

 3..Giant Stone Towers-

 They are famous for building stelae (massive stone pillars). One of them is nearly 80 feet tall and carved from a single piece of granite. These were used as gravestones for their kings.

 

 4..Religious Leaders-

 Under King Ezana in the 300s, Aksum became one of the first empires in the world to officially adopt Christianity.

 5..Unique Language-

They created their own alphabet called Ge'ez. It is still used today in Ethiopian church services.

  

Do you want to know why its powers have been hidden----                                                             

1--It’s a 'Western' bias. For a long time, history books were written mostly in Europe. They focused on Rome and Greece and ignored powerful African kingdoms. It’s like a movie that only follows the main characters and ignores the billionaire living next door.

2--It’s still underground. In places like Rome, the ruins are everywhere. In Aksum, about 95% of the empire is still buried under the dirt. We haven't even found most of their palaces yet because archaeologists haven't finished digging.

3--They didn't have a 'Hollywood' ending. Rome fell with giant, famous battles. Aksum's decline was slow—it was more like a business slowly losing customers because trade routes moved and the soil got tired. There wasn't one big 'explosion' for historians to write movies about.

4--Finally, modern problems. Because of wars and a lack of money in the region, it’s been hard for scientists to go there and study.

SO , You may say - THE Aksumite Empire was Ancient GOOGLE or IMAGINE by APPLE that changed the world, but because their headquarters got covered in dust and nobody wrote their story in the West, they became a 'lost' superpower.

Due to THE THREE major problems , The Decline of the Empire took place-

First, they lost their customers. When the Islamic empires rose in the 7th century, they took control of the Red Sea. Suddenly, Aksum’s 'shipping lanes' were cut off. They went from being the world’s biggest trade hub to being a landlocked country with no way to sell their goods.

Second, the land gave out. They had been a superpower for 800 years, but they over-farmed the soil and cut down all the trees for fuel. The earth basically 'ran out of battery.' The soil got weak, the rain stopped coming, and they couldn't grow enough food to feed their giant cities anymore.

Third, internal chaos. Around the year 960, a legendary queen named Gudit (or Yodit) led a massive rebellion. She wasn't a fan of the empire’s religion or its leaders, so she marched in and burned down the palaces and churches.
